As a cooperative owned and operated by those who receive services from us, Chariton Valley Electric Cooperative (CVEC) is driven by the goal of providing safe and reliable electricity at a competitive rate.
CVEC continually evalutes the costs associated with delivering power to our members 24/7, 365 days a year. This includes evaluating the cost of generation, transmission and delivery of power to each meter on our system. We also monitor our controllable expenses in an effort to protect the safe, reliable and competitively priced power our members have come to expect.
